Back and Better Than Ever! +Giveaway
In case anyone hadn’t noticed the severe lack of updates here at MS over the last few months, here’s what’s been going on:
SITEFAIL. I was having a lot of trouble with the coding of the old page–specifically the news component–and have been trying to fix it for a while. It was getting spammed and it was just a mess. It was kind of embarrassing. But we are officially switched over to WordPress, and things are running smoother than ever! (Seriously. Ever.)
So! Since I’ve been an awful webmaster for the last few months, let me tell you about the things that are new and shiny:
- All of Cassie’s pages are complete.
- TMI book page is now complete with placeholder covers for the next three books.
- TMI characters are now represented with character art by Val Freire.
- TMI Graphic Novel page is up with all the images we have so far.
- TID book page is up.
- All Fan pages are complete.
- NEW: Meet the Contributors.
- NEW: Apply to be a Contributor.
Things that I still have to finish:
- Updating TMI character bios to make them CoG-compliant.
- TMI quotes from the end of CoB and on.
- TID character bios.
- TID quotes.
- One anthology is missing.
The things I’m missing are mostly content things–and I could use Content Contributors to help out with that! Apply here.
And a relaunch giveaway? Of course.
The prize is a little prize pack made up of a blank journal with Clary, Jace, and Simon with artwork by Val Freire (pictured right) along with a TMI postcard and signed City of Glass bookplate. How can you win it? Like this:

City of Fallen Angels was released on April 5, 2011 and flew straight to the top of the NYT Bestseller list. It also debuted at #2 on the USA Today Bestseller List. A special edition with a letter from Jace can be found in the 
i love the new website, think its really nice and sophisticated. Also, its nice and simple, nothing to complicated. Furthermore, I have read most of the new content and can’t wait to read the last little bits i havent read and in the future. BIG thumbs up from the UK!

The new site is absolutely gorgeous! I really love how “Clockwork Angel”-esque it is. It never hurts any website to have a huge web banner of Will at the top!

Oh my gosh this is lovely, very eye catching! I loved the cover of the new book often found myself staring at it (I’m not afraid to admit it!) so I love seeing it here! The thought of becoming a contributor is rather tempting I must admit, I’ll have to look into that.

I love the new site! At first I don’t think the color scheme would work, but it did. I really love the color combination. Overall it looks very easy to navigate, which is what I’d really like in a website!

Wow, great! I was waiting for some good news from the site, as you told me on your email, and that’s way too good! The new layout is wonderful and looks really elegant and chic. The new sections are just lovely and guess it took you lots of time! Also, the giveaway ideas are always nice, so well done and thanks for keeping it updated!

Just signed up! I have followed you guys on Twitter for a while, and I have checked the site out before, but I have never registered until now. Don’t know why. lol. I think the layout is great! A big improvement since the last structure. I liked that one before, but this one looks really nice!
